Change

Change!? Personally, I prefer to speak of transformation. Because it always involves a mix of deliberate steering on the one hand and self-organization on the other. We cannot plan everything, we also need confidence in self-development. And yes, that requires courage and determination, especially when the transformation runs deep.
Change is always an expedition into the unknown. Everyone is curious, hopeful, and a little unsettled. Will we succeed? For success, we need a shared image of the future: a picture, a storyline, a “why,” a sense of purpose. And as a team, we need the ability to integrate and use the unexpected productively. This requires linking business logic and emotional logic in a meaningful way. Sustainable organizational development depends on keeping several dimensions in view at the same time: strategy, leadership, organization, and employee commitment.
That’s challenging — and exactly where I love to stand by your side. Whether consulting, orchestrating, steering, or facilitating — whatever has priority in the moment, tailored to you. We shape the journey together, living the goals of the transformation already in the process.

What’s on your mind?

  • What are the most effective levers for implementing our strategy successfully?
  • Which organizational design and leadership approach do we need to execute our strategy?
  • How can transformation succeed when it requires both decisive cuts and innovation for new growth?
  • How do we design a post-merger integration that truly brings employees and customers along while realizing strategic potential?
  • Are there innovative change formats that inspire enthusiasm for transformation and deliver fast results even under high operational pressure?
  • “No appetite for change!” Exhaustion? How can skepticism and resistance turn into something new — and why downplaying problems won’t bring progress either?
  • How do we anchor focus on results and a sense of „we“ in our culture?

Feel free to get in touch — I look forward to your questions!

“Barbara Heitger has been our partner for organizational development at the Haberkorn Group for many years. What she does exceptionally well is connecting strategy, organization, and leadership in a way that creates commitment and a sense of unity. That’s what defines our collaboration: side by side, flexible in the process, with deep trust and continuous new impulses. This also applies to her community of consultants.”
